What the Youjia G1 is built for
Its gearless steel-belt drive sits inside the shaft, quieter than ropes and never oiled.
It carries three to four people or a wheelchair up to six floors, and returns to the nearest floor in a power cut.
It suits

Does the G1 need a machine room?
No, the machine sits inside the shaft, so it needs only the shaft, a shallow pit and top-floor headroom.
Will the G1 fit on my existing basement slab?
Often, since the pit starts at 150 mm (6 in); the site survey checks your slab.
How many floors can the G1 serve?
Two to six stops, with up to 15 m (49 ft) of travel.
