Tile is a surface; the membrane behind it decides whether the room lasts.
Can we use the bathroom during the work?
Not that one, and if it is your only bathroom, the toilet and shower come back first.
Is a permit needed?
Not for a like-for-like refit, but moving drains usually does, and we handle it.
